My main arts form is Film, both my silver and bronze arts awards, have been shown through the median of Film and I have done various summer courses of Film. My bronze and silver were narrative based projects and the summer one was more abstract. I further quite enjoy the genre of horror, but I haven’t explored it in my recent films.

For my new art form/practise I would like to do a video again, but with more photographic elements. Although, I have a canon DSLR at home I struggle to use it out of automatic mode and would love to be able to access all the features it has to offer and take better quality pictures.  I then hope to incorporate my newfound photography skills into a video. I further would like to explore the scope of ‘horror’ photography and take a multitude of scary pictures, which would come together to create a video.

For my skills development plan, I hope to spend every art session working on my photography skills and learning how to use the features

I worked with a practitioner called Laurence. She showed me a feature on the DSLR, where when you could make people look like ‘ghosts’.

Progress- I went to the beach to try and get more photos of people walking past and looking like ghosts
